We founded Kensington Business Sales because we saw far too many entrepreneurs experiencing poor outcomes when trying to sell their business. We decided to create a model in which our clients could see that we profited from a successful sale, as opposed to generating most of our revenues from sign-up fees and even exit charges if a sale didn't materialise.
We also understand that selling a business is one of the most important transactions that you will ever undertake, in which you've invested a sinificant amount both financially and emotionally, and we’re here to make a sale as straightforward as possible. Our team of seasoned professionals has the expertise and knowledge to provide you with the guidance you need every step of the way.
Having spent many years working within this industry we know what works and what is unproductive, so taking our knowledge and experience we also spent many months developing a new marketing strategy, embracing the technology now available, which is completely unique and goes far beyond our competitors’ normal advertising practices.
Our Founder & CEO
Our founder, Terry Colette, is one of the UK’s most experienced M&A specialists, with over 20 years’ experience. Prior to founding Kensington Business Sales, he worked as a leading business valuation and company sale specialist, helping hundreds of business owners achieve an exit.
Understanding that the market was not adapting to the new opportunities available, and seeing the frustration of entrepreneurs who were having a negative outcome, he decided to launch a boutique business brokerage firm to focus on sales in which he and his team could add real value.
